GCF seed funded and played a major role in the support of RI, to train local Community Health Workers to instruct beneficiaries on how to use food rations so that they met the needs of themselves and their families, and how to properly use products, such as mosquito netting for infants, to ensure that they save lives. RI operates 2 primary care clinics, supports 8 health posts, and 2 mobile clinics in North Darfur, reaching 112,000 beneficiaries. Facilities are located in village and rural communities, to ensure that even remote and mobile populations have access to services.
