GCF had played a major role in creation of this local NGO in Palestine. PSD is established in July of 2009 in Palestine as part of the continuous effort made by the Skoll Foundation and the Global Catalyst Foundation to transform the Palestinian-Israeli conflict by empowering local Palestinian communities. PSDs focused programs areas are: School Network in partnership with Ministry of education and Palestine Education Initiative, Youth-Led Community Service and Development and Women Empowerment for Sustainable Development.
